This website (reelsestate.co.uk) is operated by Reels Estate Group Limited ("Reels Estate", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16686100.

Reels Estate is the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website.

2. What this Privacy Policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal data when you visit reelsestate.co.uk and join our waitlist. It does not cover the Reels Estate mobile application, which has not yet launched and which will be governed by a separate privacy policy at that time.

3. What information we collect

Currently, the only personal data we collect through this website is:

  • Your email address, when you submit it through the waitlist signup form.

We may also receive limited technical information that your browser sends automatically when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit. This information is used solely to operate the website and is not used to identify you personally.

4. How we use your information

We use the email address you provide to:

  • Add you to the Reels Estate waitlist.
  • Send you occasional updates about the launch of the Reels Estate platform, including launch announcements, early access opportunities, and product news.
  • Notify you when the Reels Estate app becomes available.

We will not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Our legal basis for processing your data

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR) — when you submit your email to join the waitlist, you are giving us consent to send you pre-launch marketing communications. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send you.
  • Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR) — for the limited operational use of technical information described above, including keeping the website secure and functioning and measuring aggregate, anonymised website usage through cookieless analytics. You can object to this processing at any time by emailing privacy@reelsestate.co.uk.

6. How long we keep your data

We will retain your email address until either (a) you ask us to remove it, or (b) twelve months have passed since the public launch of the Reels Estate platform, whichever happens first. After that, your email address will be deleted from our active waitlist.

If you unsubscribe, we will keep a minimal record of your email address on a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again.

7. Who we share your data with

We use the following third-party service providers to operate our waitlist:

  • Resend — to send waitlist emails on our behalf.
  • Vercel — to host the website itself.
  • Vercel Web Analytics — to measure aggregate, anonymised website usage. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual visitors.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your data.

8. International transfers

Where we use service providers based outside the UK, we make sure your personal data has equivalent protection. Resend, our transactional email provider, processes your email address in the United States. For this transfer we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, as set out in Resend's Data Processing Agreement. Where Resend is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, we may also rely on that framework as an additional safeguard.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.

  • Withdraw your consent at any time.

This website is not intended for use by children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted their email address to us, please contact us and we will delete the record.
